MikuRPG Demo Version 1.0.3 Patch Notes


Heya everymiku, we've released a new update for the MikuRPG Demo!

This update seeks to address bugs that we've found since version 1.0.2.1's release, as well as some feedback adjustments that we've heard from various sources (mostly regarding the Kagamine duo). The same amount of content is still available, but with a little bit more polish. If you haven't tried out MikuRPG yet, we invite you to try it! This will be the most solid version of our current demo!

Due to a change in balancing as well as other core adjustments, saves prior to version 1.0.3 will no longer work with this updated version. We thank everyone who has tried out the previous versions to help us discover things to adjust and resolving weird issues!

MikuRPG Demo 1.0.3 Patch Notes

General

•    Title Screen Graphics has been updated.

•    File size has been reduced.

•    Small bits of dialogue have been added.

Items

•    Bananas now recover 25 MP and have increased cost.

•    Revised Red Banana to more clearly indicate that it works on KO’d party members.

•    Items obtainable from shops in the game have had their prices adjusted.

•    Dropped items from monsters have had their sell costs slightly increased.

•    A new way to trade Honey Fragments has been added.

Monsters & Encounters

•    Monster names between different monsters are now more unique.

•    Increased HP pool on Monsters and some monsters will hit harder.

•    Stronger bees now have a different sprite.

•    Increased final encounter difficulty.

o    The boss will no longer repeatedly use the protection spell.

Skills

•    Miku and Luka’s Attack with their weapons now does more damage.

•    Miku’s Acceleration Speed now grants the speed buff for 5 turns.

•    Luka’s Maguro Mash now does more damage.

•    Rin’s regular attack now hits more reliably but deals less damage.

•    Rin’s Bird now deals more damage and has more survivability.

•    Rin’s Meltdown Skills have been readjusted to the following:

o    Rin’s Meltdown damage has been adjusted across the board.

o    All Meltdown skills have had their damage reduced.

o    Meltdown I (12 MP): Fire a volley of shots 3 times against one enemy. Lowered chance to hit.

o    Meltdown II (18 MP): Fire a volley of shots 5 times against random enemies. Much lowered chance to hit.

o    Meltdown III (26 MP): Fire a volley of shots 6 times against one enemy. Lowered chance to hit.

o    Total Meltdown (49 MP): Fire a volley of shots 8 times against random enemies. Higher accuracy and damage than regular Meltdown. Become Tired for 3 turns after use.

•    Locked In Skill is now named Lock In.

•    Len’s spells now deal more damage and cost more MP.

•    Len’s Fire Flower II no longer hits more than once but has had its damage slightly increased.

•    Len’s Adagio now properly states that it grants 50% Speed reduction.

Bug Fixes

•    Resolved an issue where the Cadence Shopkeeper was referring to the wrong dialogue.

•    Resolved an issue where pastors who requested 25 Coins took 50.

•    Resolved an issue where leaving Cadence to the west will simply state “Cadence Town”.

•    Resolved an issue where the door in Len’s Study leading outside was not visible.

•    Resolved an issue where the Captain could be in the Castle yard before he should’ve been.

•    Resolved an issue where Andy the chicken farmer would teleport into a different tile after finishing his quest.

•    Resolved an issue where the Shop in Cadence was not accessible.

•    Resolved typos and adjusted some dialogues.

•    Resolved an issue where Rin’s Bird being KO’d would cause weird behaviors with the party.

•    Resolved an issue where Luka’s Knight’s Greaves weren’t present on her.

•    Resolved an issue where Bandits would linger when they are defeated.

•    Resolved an issue where hidden items would not be retrievable.

•    Resolved an issue where the Knight’s Greaves +1 would be present twice in the shop list.

•    Resolved an issue when exiting the castle on the second floor puts Miku into a door frame.

•    Resolved an issue where Tired characters could still take actions.
